Flying in a Machine
Sep 9, 2019

A while back I went flying with my mate Scott Grieve in a small single engine plane around Fife and the surrounding areas. We were lucking enough to have amazing weather which provided incredible views of Scotland. Unfortunately it also meant less turbulence - something which I was looking forward to experiencing. We were in the air for around an hour. I managed to fly the plane for several mins which was great fun….although, it was hard to resist the urge to dive bomb the plane or throw some serious pitch, yaw and roll.
The experience has inspired me to work towards attaining a pilots licence, following in Mr Grieves footsteps. Although I have no desire to train to become a full pilot like he is, learning to fly a single engine small lightweight plane would be not only an achievement but a gateway for many fun times.
I will get there.
